Madrid

The Autonomous Community of Madrid suggests landscapes such as the Guadarrama Mountains, where visitors can enjoy the architerture and historical aspects of the monastery El Escorial, which is one of Spain's most impressive monuments. Tourists may also consider checking the country's historical cities such as Aranjuez and Chinchón, located in the southern area.

Madrid is a historical city with lots of historical places like the Plaza Mayor (Main Square). This place did not only serve as a place of celebrations but also was the witness of savage judgments and executions performed by the Inquisition. This square with porches is the main feature of the old part of Madrid and it is also an interesting case of the architectonic during the times of the House of Hapsburg. Among other amazing buildings one may discover the "Colegiata of San Isidro" and the palace of Santa Cruz.

Barcelona
This city is one of the most popular ports of the Mediterranean. Its area is a bit more that the capital of Spain. Barcelona represents a place of great cultural, commercial and recreational life. All of these suffered a great change due to the Olympic Games that took part back in 1992. The transformations that took place make the city more suggestive for any visitor.
