With lots of innovative ideas that motivate young people to get involved in different environmental processes, Global Inheritance has become one of the most influential non-for-profit organizations that engage youngsters in solving a variety of environmental problems. One of the latest projects developed by the organization is the Environmetaland, the first environmental theme park in the world. The park can be found on the corner of Hollywood Boulevard and Highland Avenue.
The official site of the organization says that the eco theme park includes such intriguing features as Energy Playground, Recycled Paper Plane Takeoff, Mini-Bin Exhibit and Designing Station, Alternative Energy Golf Carts, The Planetarium, Desert Mini Golf and many more. The project is expected to attract a large number of visitors, at least according to representatives of Global Inheritance, Environmentaland will certainly influence the theme park industry and expand its possibilities.
But the environmental theme park is not just fun and games - visitors will have a chance to participate in a series of event such as Bigger Picture Movie Nights, different art shows, permanent exhibits, special events and solar powered music. The project is intriguing indeed, with the eco theme park expected to be a blast, but the organization still says that despite a wide range of activities people can get involved into in the park, the whole plan is just in its starting phase.
It is worth mentioning that Global Inheritance was established in 2002. The goal of the organization is to motivate youth to show creativity when solving various environmental issues. Its representatives pay a lot of attention to the power of imagination to converse and "push for progressive social change". In order to achieve its goal the organization takes advantage of technology, arts and interactivity. Some of the projects in which the organization played its role include Plug and Play Energy Bike. The idea is that anyone can power up iPhone and TV by simply pedaling away on the bike created by Global Inheritance. Another project is Coachella Express, train that took about 500 people on a free ride to Coachella festival that lasted 3 days and took place in the desert. The idea behind the project was to reduce the level of carbon emission and eliminate the necessity to spend a lot of time looking for a parking space. All riders had the chance to enjoy great music with a popular DJ and eat ice-cream sandwiches free of charge.
